Iracema Dulley
anthropologist, psychoanalyst, creative writer
Through listening, traveling, writing, and translating, I engage with the world and the subjects who inhabit it, their repetitions and transformations.
Central matters of concern are language and the body, the media through which we are constituted as subjects, express ourselves, and relate to the world. My work involves English, Portuguese, German, French, and Umbundu.
Some questions I work with:
How are subjects constituted?
How does transformation happen?
How does difference materialize in language and the body?
How can anthropology expand the horizons of psychoanalysis and vice-versa?
